Pastor David, his wife Brianna, and their two young girls, Thalia and Eden, joined us here at Line Baptist Church in October 2023. During his visit to the candidate, the Lord made it clear that this was where He wanted David to serve. Just a few weeks later, the church called David to become the lead pastor. Pastor was born and raised in the Los Angeles area before moving to the Midwest after his time in Bible college. There he met his wife who was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois and they were soon married a year later. Both spent time teaching middle school and high school classes at a private Christian school before the Lord led them to Jacksonville, Florida to participate in a pastoral internship program. During this time the pandemic settled in and the internship was dissolved due to uncertainty surrounding many churches and businesses. From there, the Hardens spent time with family in California and Tennessee until the Lord opened a door for David to become an associate pastor in Plymouth, Wisconsin. During this time, it became clear to the leadership there that David was ready to serve as a lead pastor. With God’s direction, the Hardens made their way to Foster, Rhode Island. Pastor is an avid Lakers, Dodgers, and Tottenham Hotspur fan and also a big fan of track and field. Some of his favorite things to do are spending time with his wife and girls, taking a walk after dinner, or dancing and singing silly songs together. He also enjoys a good book to read with a good cup of coffee, spending time outdoors in nature, or finding a project to dive into. Brianna is a fan of curling up on the couch with a good book and cup of coffee or spending time with her husband and girls enjoying a nice evening together playing silly games and reading silly books or tending their small garden. She also enjoys seeing new places, finding a good thrift shop, and discovering local coffee shops to enjoy.
